NEARLY 55 MILLION CHILDREN HAVE BEEN MURDERED since the infamous Roe vs. Wade decision that legalized abortion on January 22nd, 1973.
The Cincinnati ProLife Committee is dedicated to spiritually protecting life by promoting an annual public Rosary Procession in bitter January cold as penance for the Court’s decision. We also honor those individuals who have stood up for life in public office and who deal with the devastating effects of abortion on a daily basis.
That Roe v. Wade is the law of the land is propaganda, not fact. It is merely a Supreme Court decision. The 13th Amendment overturned the Dred Scott Supreme Court decision. Brown v. the Board of Education overturned Plessy v. Ferguson. All Roe v. Wade did was throw out a Texas law that banned abortion in the state of Texas. Constitutional scholars, including those who support abortion, admit that the Court had no authority under the U.S. Constitution to rule on the constitutionality of a state law regarding abortion. The Court ignored the Tenth Amendment, which grants states powers not denied to them nor specifically given to the federal government, such as are listed in Art. I, Sec. 8 of the U.S. Constitution.
The Court did not address the issue of when life begins. Since no woman has ever given birth to anything but a human being, life in the womb belongs to an individual person blessed by God with a unique genetic makeup. The Court ignored the Fifth and Fourteenth Amendments, both of which protect life.
The abortion industry makes big money by targeting women with problem pregnancies, especially minorities. Abortuaries have been discovered to be filthy and in violation of surgical standards. American citizens are forced to subsidize abortionists’ salaries through Title X tax funding. The media ignores research connecting abortion with breast cancer as well as annual January demonstrations in Washington, D.C. and many major cities.
Since the invention of the sonogram, however, former abortionists have been speaking out against the slaughter of babies, most notably Dr. Bernard Nathanson. State restrictions on abortion as well as educational efforts, especially on college campuses, are increasing. The majority of Americans are on record as being opposed to abortion on demand.
We hope that by attracting a large crowd each January to pray publicly, followed by a rally to honor pro-life leaders, that the righteous cause of life will ultimately prevail, according to God’s holy will.

Planned Parenthood’s annual report for 2011-2012 reveals an astounding 333,964 abortions. Its contraceptive services decreased 12% since 2009. However, since many birth control pills act as abortafacients by preventing implantation of the fertilized egg into the uterine wall, one could say that the word ‘contraceptive’ is an oxymoron since it can not logically apply after a child is conceived. We all started life the same way: as a fertilized egg. Conception precedes implantation!
PP’s cancer screening and prevention services have decreased 29%. That PP even pretends to provide such services is ironic, considering the fact that the World Health Organization regards the pill as a carcinogen. That the term abortion clinic is part of the American lexicon is a public relations achievement of the radical proponents of death. Each and every time we use that term, we promote acceptance of abortion. A clinic is a place of healing. Let’s call any business facility where abortionists deliberately kill the developing life of a child in the womb an abortuary.
PP received $542 million in taxpayer funding, through government grants, contracts, and Medicaid reimbursements. Despite the propaganda that Planned Parenthood treats poor women, let us step back and acknowledge that poor women are being treated at health clinics all over this country that do NOT perform abortions. Since pregnancy is not a disease, killing babies is not healthcare. American taxpayer funding for Planned Parenthood frees up money for promoting and providing abortions which otherwise would be needed to pay the light bill, …or the executive director’s $400,000 salary!
God has designed each baby as a unique individual who has a heart beat at three weeks, brain waves at six weeks, and a completely formed body, even fingerprints, at 2 1/2 months! Since euthanasiasts say there is no life without a brain wave at the end of life, then to be consistent, they should oppose abortion certainly after six weeks! The gift of life is a blessing. Let us count our blessings, not destroy them!

Our Unquestionable Gift
by Regina Marie Shawhan
Regina won 1st place in the national March for Life high school poetry contest that had 750 entries.
Our Founding Fathers sat one day and declared without a doubt.
The rights that God gave to mankind and what they were all about.
The most important they asserted was one endowed to all:
The right to life is guaranteed to persons large and small.
The Principles of Life are these, so listen carefully.
We must protect the life of each who trust so helplessly.
The unborn’s voice to us is silent, and though his plea is wordless,
We must listen with our heart as each life has a purpose.
Conception is the beginning; a new soul where there was none.
Why would you end a person’s life when it has just begun?
With silent cries the unborn plea with us to be their voice.
Their home cannot become their tomb; life is the only choice.
There can be no exception and not a compromise.
The stage of life does not matter when it comes to saving lives.
If the baby has a handicap, or is severely sick,
We must remember life to all is an unquestionable gift.
It is not our place to make the choice of who will live and who will die.
God alone will decide, when it is time for us to say goodbye.
When the lives of mom and babe are threatened, we must not despair;
Our obligation is to make sure they both get equal care.
And now these Principles of Life, so clearly stated and explained
Must be applied and shared with all; let no doubtful souls remain.
We will be the guardians of those who cannot fight,
And upon the Principles of Life together will unite.
Each person with a mind and soul for life he qualifies;
No change can to the rule be made, No Exception, No Compromise!
